Here is a review from Satar-Eating-Sun by Alex on Saburo Moroi: Symphony No. 3

The Naxos label is perhaps best serving the purpose of exposing generally unknown composers to broader audiences with their “Japanese Classics” series…

… The one comparison I will make is to Debussy, who just happens to be the only true romantic-era composer I have anything from in my collection…

… I’m not about to go recommend everyone check out Saburo Moroi immediately, though. Naxos put out a good collection with this disc, but I’m not convinced the composer brings much new to a table already filled with important names. An already seasoned classical music listener certainly couldn’t go wrong by digging deeper into this music…
