Hello !!!
I am a great fan of kronos quartets unregular an d exciting way of precenting differnt contemporary and ownproduced material. Recently I have ordered their special release of among other Terry Reiley – thanks to my own curiousity and boosey and hawkes online notestore . I cant remember the title – is it the album with pink cover and mexican folklore that contains some tecnoremix versions of latin tunes that they have arranged themselves ? This reminds me very much of the scandinavian FLESHquartet . . . it is familiar and important ; in the cold winternight of frozen stereotypical swedish hockey-blue-yellow-sportshirt-not-pregnant-hysteria !!!
Goran Hogberg is defintively happy about about the hockeystick H E got for Christmas last year. The devoted violist as I,myself,am – not much comes by . But following educationclasses with students at college age reminds me much of what music scene looked like 10 -15 years ago . Being born in the late seventhies I have grown nice teeth by now , but it is important reminders to collect in dialogue with youngsters today, especially about the 20century composers . The book written by Stig Erik Werner published in danish on her royal majesty the queen bookpublishment is very good . It is a collection of articles from different papers and magazines from the sixties up to today . I think it gives a very exciting picture of the music debate in denmark as well as progression on the culturefield in general . MMMM….I like Terry Reilly , too!
