Kylian presents in these works a minimalist viewscape of costume and sets. The performers are very simply dressed, there is very little in the way of props, and the lighting is used most often to create shaped "platforms" upon which the dancers pose, all of which is perfectly fine; "lavish" is not a word that accords with this genre.
